Rubbish
The lakes need to be protected, and kids educated not to put rubbish in them.
What a shame that every generation needs to learn how not to rubbish a land scape! I find the parks are well maintained, but the odd plastic bag or coke bottle in the lakes is upsetting nonetheless. I really appreciate the efforts in park maintenance, and hope the lakes always stay beautiful. Last time we tried though, the barbecue at the lakes is not working. Out of gas?
I like to go for walk everyday with my dog, continually i see rubbish on the footpaths, bird shit, dog shit, general rubbish. for starters the people who allow their dogs to shit on the footpaths need a good clip around the ears and secondly us ratepayers pay around $200.00 a year for the landscaping maintenance to live in kingston so why don't some of this money be put towards cleaning and washing down the footpaths every now and then??
