Dogs on the green. Are the notices requiring dogs to remain on leads not big enough, numerous enough or what? Seems dog owners have a problem over this as it is common to see dogs being taken off their leads the moment the owner gets them onto the green. With a sand pit childrens play area there is no place for uncontrolled dogs here.
Isn't there a need for bins next to the park. The amount of rubbish around the park is t errible and the closest bin is near the bus stop. Kids will simply not walk over to the bin and consequently are leaving the rubbish there. How do we get a bin put beside the park?
Do you know when they are building the road for kingston to paris road. When we first bought stewart lester advised me that it was in the works and they would see something happen in around this year. Can you please advise of any progress??
Any queries regarding building the Kingston Drive extension to Paris Road should be directed to the Shire. The developer has pushed the issue as far as possible, and the Shire has agreed in principle.
The Harvey Shire's site is www.harvey.wa.gov.au and their phone number is 9729 0300.
Not sure if you recieved my last post... so here it is again,I was wondering if you can get intouch with the council, and give them a push to get some road sweepers in Kingston, i haven't seen a road sweeper in kingston for a good 3 years, and i think its about time we had our roads swept, after all, this is the perfect place to live, so lets keep it that way. OH and in case you may ask me to call the council myself, i have about 3 weeks ago, and still our road are a mess. Thanks in advance Mrs MDC
When i purchased a block in kingston almost 2 years ago now i was warned for friends that kingston has dramas with getting adsl. So i asked the sales staff and they said the block i was buying was in a section which will be able to get adsl internet 2 years late i am still unable to get internet. Why was i told otherwise and why does a new estate have the most shocking data system. Dayellup has fibre optic but kingston has nothing? Any interest in upgrading the lines so we will atleast be only 5 years behind todays technology?
And please dont suggest ocean broadband.. shocking service and overpriced for slow internet.. ill pass

Thanks for the comment - the Ranger is the best one to talk to about the dog issues.
ReplyDeleteThe Shire number is 9729 0300, and they can put you in touch with the Ranger.
They are a problem - agreed.

Hi
ReplyDeleteThank you for highlighting this.
Bins can be requested from the Shire - their number is 9729 0300.
See how you go, and if you don't have any luck we'll write an official letter from the Residents Committee

can anyone tell me what night Trick or treat is being held this year at kingston please sat or sun
ReplyDeleteI am not sure as there is nothing formal being organised by the Residents Committee. Sunday is the actual day of Halloween.
ReplyDeleteI would be prepared for either night, and perhaps go to the Amphitheatre before setting out in case others are there also.
