We address some comments received from residents regarding television transmission within Kingston:
Kingston falls within the GWN, WIN, ABC & SBS transmission. The ABC and SBS are transmitting in digital format. As to when GWN and WIN will be transmitting in digital format in the greater Bunbury area is unknown.
Due to license restrictions, Perth television stations do not have the ability to transmit in this region. The Kingston aerial has provided the possibility of some reception from Perth stations (in analogue and digital format) and this is classed ‘fortuitous reception’. The signals for those services are weak in the Bunbury\Australind area and those services are not licensed outside of the metropolitan area. They are very much dependent on atmospheric conditions and cannot be guaranteed.
For any technical issues regarding the Kingston’s television system, please contact Broadcasting Engineering Services on 1300 135 231
If you lose your TV signal, please call the number listed on this blog because the technicians won't report it as a fault if they don't get enough complaints.
If I am having trouble with my TV signal is Broadcasting Engineering Services the best place to call? As I am totally unable to watch any free to air TV due to EXTREMELY poor reception
My tv reception has been dropping out so badly for the past few weeks i have no tv between nine at night and twelve in the afternoon . That is pethetic , what is going on !!!!!!!!

If we have our own TV tower, why do we have such lousy reception? I use a signal booster and the TV STILL drops out frequently.
