The Kingston Community & Social Group is an Incorporated body established to assist in building a solid community structure that embodies high standards, values and pride in Kingston Estate of Australind. We address some comments received from residents regarding television transmission within Kingston:
Kingston falls within the GWN, WIN, ABC & SBS transmission. The ABC and SBS are transmitting in digital format. As to when GWN and WIN will be transmitting in digital format in the greater Bunbury area is unknown.
Due to license restrictions, Perth television stations do not have the ability to transmit in this region. The Kingston aerial has provided the possibility of some reception from Perth stations (in analogue and digital format) and this is classed ‘fortuitous reception’. The signals for those services are weak in the Bunbury\Australind area and those services are not licensed outside of the metropolitan area. They are very much dependent on atmospheric conditions and cannot be guaranteed.
